WebMay 30, 2024 · Green Point Beach at Marrawah was another highlight. At first it looked a little flat compared to some of the other rocky beaches. But at low tide, the water recedes to reveal fascinating little rockpools, like giant’s footprints, ripe for exploring. There is a camping area, sheltered picnic tables and even a playground here. WebMarrawah is a small community located at the end of the Bass Highway 3 km in from the coast. A sealed road leads to the two main surfing beaches at Periwinkle (T 930) and Marrawah (T 932). There are limited facilities available at Marrawah, with a camping reserve and toilets at the beach and a car park at Periwinkle.
