WebJan 17, 2024 · Sadly I have no experience with etherDFS at all - so not sure if this can work - but then again - on a rough view PVE uses tap-devices on a bridge - so most things work on layer 2 /ethernet * make sure you don't have any firewall rules defined - as I'd assume that most sane rulesets would discard ethernet-frames without a well-known ethertype

WebJul 1, 2024 · FWIW, between EtherDFS and EthFlop it's EtherDFS that's a closer analogy to INTERLNK; ethflop hooks onto the "block-device" BIOS calls so unless you want on the server side to dish out raw image files or raw access to a DOS FAT12-formatted disk device it's probably less useful. Webethflop is a DOS TSR that emulates a floppy disk drive. The emulated (virtual) floppy disk is, in fact, stored on a Linux server as a floppy image. All the communication between ethflop (the TSR) and ethflopd (the Linux daemon) is exchanged over raw Ethernet.

Probably a little late for you but DR-DOS before v6 (with the march 1993 update) has incompatible internal structures (CDS etc) that means all redirectors that expect to create drives as if they were PC/MS-DOS v4+ will have problems.
